Here are the best spots for your nights out.

Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge

Nashville’s most famous honky-tonk is right behind the Ryman Auditorium and has been serving drinks since 1960. Willie Nelson is said to have landed his first songwriting job after performing here, and the walls are filled with memorabilia from music legends. With three floors, three stages, and a rooftop, you’ll find a different band playing on every level.

  • Vibe: Loud, purple, and truly iconic. Every Nashville bachelorette photo collection needs at least one picture from here.
  • Signature Drinks: There’s a full bar and classic pub food, but most people are here for the music, not the food.
  • Best For: The perfect first stop, especially if your group wants to say you visited Nashville’s most famous honky-tonk.
  • Know Before You Go: There’s no cover charge, but it fills up quickly. Arrive early if your group wants space to dance.

Robert’s Western World

While many Broadway bars now feature pop-country cover bands, Robert’s has stuck with traditional country and western swing since 1992. It’s famous for the “Recession Special,” a fried bologna sandwich, chips, a MoonPie, and a PBR for about $6, still one of the best deals on Broadway.

  • Vibe: Old-school and unpretentious, with a classic sawdust-on-the-floor feel.
  • Signature Drinks: Ice-cold PBR and the Recession Special, which is both a meal and a fun bar memory.
  • Best For: Groups looking for a real honky-tonk experience without the touristy vibe.
  • Know Before You Go: There’s no cover, live music goes for about 17 hours a day, and it’s 21 and up after 6 p.m.

Located in an 1890 building by the river, Acme’s rooftop has been named Best Rooftop Bar in Nashville several times by Nashville Scene readers. You’ll get amazing views of the Cumberland River, Nissan Stadium, and the skyline. The four floors include a quiet restaurant, live music on the main floor, and the rooftop above.

  • Vibe: More relaxed than the nearby honky-tonks, with Southern comfort food, craft cocktails, and river views.
  • Signature Drinks: Try the Blackberry Margarita or Mule Kicker, and don’t miss the famous hot chicken sandwich if your group is hungry.
  • Best For: A rooftop toast with a view, especially if your group wants a break from the busiest part of Broadway.
  • Know Before You Go: Acme has been dealing with a big property tax increase in 2026, with an appeal hearing set for early September. It’s open right now, but check before planning your whole night there.

Owned by Blake Shelton and named after his hit song, Ole Red is a huge 26,000-square-foot entertainment spot just two blocks from the Ryman. The rooftop, called The Lookout, is said to be the tallest rooftop bar on Broadway, and there’s even a rooftop brunch on weekends if your group wants to start early.

  • Vibe: Glammed-up and polished for a honky-tonk, with top-notch live music and a real chance of a surprise Blake Shelton appearance.
  • Signature Drinks: Order the Cherry Limeade with moonshine.
  • Best For: A big night out with a rooftop view..
  • Know Before You Go: They don’t take reservations. Add your name to the list when you arrive, and expect a wait during busy weekend hours.

Nudie’s Honky Tonk

Named after rhinestone tailor Nudie Cohn, who made flashy Western suits for stars from Elvis to John Lennon, this three-story honky-tonk is full of country music history. You’ll see Cohn’s custom Cadillac, insured for $400,000, hanging on the wall. It also has the longest bar in Nashville—over 100 feet—decorated with nearly 10,000 silver dollars.

  • Vibe: Glitzy and a bit like a museum, with live music on two stages and a rooftop deck when the weather’s nice.
  • Signature Drinks: There’s a full bar and Southern comfort food if your group needs something to eat after a few drinks.
  • Best For: Groups who want real music history along with the party.
  • Know Before You Go: There’s no elevator, just three flights of stairs to the rooftop. Keep this in mind if anyone in your group might have trouble with stairs.

The Patterson House

If you want to swap honky-tonk noise for great cocktails, this Midtown speakeasy has been a key part of Nashville’s craft cocktail scene since 2009. It moved in 2026 to a new fifth-floor spot in the Bill Voorhees Building and still gets praise from Bon Appétit and the James Beard Foundation.

  • Vibe: Dim, intimate, and much quieter than Broadway. Expect velvet curtains and a crowd focused on the drinks, not the show.
  • Signature Drinks: Choose from over 100 cocktails, with a rotating “Short List” and a “Long Menu” of house classics from the past 17 years.
  • Best For: A quieter stop early in the night, or a relaxed final round before heading home.
  • Know Before You Go: It’s mostly first-come, first-served, but you can reserve for groups up to 10. Book ahead if you want your whole group to sit together.

Pro Tip: No matter which bars you visit, the morning after can be rough. Booking a private recovery yoga or fitness session at your rental is a great way to get everyone hydrated, stretched, and ready for round two. Book a Bachelorette Yoga, Pilates, or Fintess Class in Nashville
